I am…
I’m a final-year Computer Science student, but originally, I started my academic career in Biomedical Science, completing both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biomedical Discovery & Commercialization.
I was drawn to science because I liked the structure of it: asking difficult questions, collecting evidence, testing ideas, troubleshooting, and gradually working toward a better answer.
During a master’s internship at Sanofi Pasteur, I had some exposure to data science work and found myself increasingly interested in what technical teams were doing. I later returned to university to build a stronger foundation in programming, databases, data, and software systems.
I'm a capable self-directed learner, but I'm happiest when I'm learning alongside other people. At this stage of my career, I'm looking for opportunities where I can contribute to a larger project, take ownership of a meaningful piece of work, and learn from teammates with more experience than I have. (and hopefully grow with an organization long-term).

FAQ
-
I originally pursued biomedical science with medicine in mind, but over time I became more interested in exploring other ways of solving problems. Exposure to data science and technical teams during my time at Sanofi helped spark that curiosity, and eventually I returned to university to study computer science.
-
I’m still exploring that boundary. I enjoy working with data, databases, automation, and practical software tools, but I’m less interested in choosing a label than in finding problems where those skills are useful.
-
Most of my projects begin with a problem I actually care about and then I work backwards to see what tools I need to learn to solve that problem. That has led me into areas like data dashboards, automation, databases, robotics, and personal tools. The technologies vary, but the pattern is similar: I like understanding unfamiliar systems and turning them into something practical.
Also, as I’m early in my career, I’ve naturally been exploring broadly and have let my curiosity and real life experiences guide that exploration. Do I want to specialize one day? Absolutely! But I won’t posture and say I know exactly where that niche is just yet.

Some things in progress -
Web Development elective
CAPM certification
Excel skills certification (because even for someone who’s good with computers, Excel is its own beast and its used pretty much everywhere)
I’m currently focused on becoming stronger at working with real-world data, technical systems, and collaborative development workflows. I’m also interested in improving my web development skills and continuing to build projects that connect technology with problems I genuinely care about.
-
I’m still exploring. I’m interested in roles that combine technical problem solving, analysis, communication, and collaboration, and I’m also curious about longer-term intersections between technology, science, research, and science communication.

I read a lot, especially fantasy and nonfiction, and I tend to take extensive notes and write about what I’m reading. I also enjoy running, climbing, hiking, camping, softball, and occasionally painting.
Check out my Substack where I will write the occassional collection of thoughts on the books I have read lately: Link 😊
